# How to Delete a Certificate

## This article explains how to remove a certificate from a personnel profile.

1. From the main menu in Cerely, select **Personnel**

2. Locate and select the employee whose certificate you want to delete

3\. From the left-hand side menu within the employee profile, select **Qualifications & Experience**

4\. At the top of the screen, select **Certificates** from the menu

5\. Find the certificate you want to remove in the list

6\. Click the **Delete** icon next to the certificate

7\. When prompted, confirm that you want to delete the certificate

#### **Important**

Once deleted, the certificate is removed immediately. If the certificate is required for specific sites or roles, the employee may no longer be eligible to be rostered until a valid certificate is added.
